Oral Radiology Clerkship
The clerkship is custom-designed to provide observational learning experiences with one-on-one instruction, and resident interaction. The participant will review challenging cases and understand the residence workflow.
Description
The curriculum is tailored to the desires of the dentist, with experiences in clinical radiology, case reports, basic research, and didactic oral radiology courses. This course is designed to give the individual an experience in oral maxillofacial radiology that will better equip them to treat their patients and referrals. The dentist can observe the faculty and residents’ practice. In addition, they may attend departmentally offered courses and clinical case conferences that the oral radiology residents take.
No direct patient care is included in this experience.
Objectives
The clerkship is designed to allow dentists to focus their study on a special interest area within their discipline.

It will vary based on the individual interests of the participant.

Schedule
Ten days are required to complete
the requirements.
Dates of attendance are custom scheduled and flexible, but course must be completed within six months of the starting date. (8 am – 5 pm )
