Course Description
This CE course combines didactic lectures and case discussion to cover a broad range of implant surgical techniques.
Course Objectives
The goal of this course is to provide the most current knowledge in implant dentistry to general dentists and specialists. After completion of this 18-hour continuing education course, the participants should be able to:
- Treatment plan cases following a scientific and literature-supported rationale, using the most modern techniques.
- Identify indications and contraindications for advanced bone-grafting procedures.
- Understand the indications and benefits of soft tissue management around dental implants.
- Treatment plan advanced bone graft procedures that include ridge augmentation, guided bone regeneration, monocortical onlay grafting and sinus lifting procedures.
- Become familiar with the current trends in tissue engineering for implant dentistry.
