Course Description
This course will describe and illustrate different ways orthodontic treatment can facilitate and work in conjunction with other dental specialties resulting in a more desirable treatment.
Course Objectives
- Recognize some situations where orthodontic treatment is indicated.
- Learn how full or limited orthodontic treatment can assistant comprehensive dental treatment.
- Learn different orthodontic biomechanical techniques.
Faculty
Richard Donatelli, D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Richard Donatelli received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, Master of Science degree, and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Florida. Dr. Donatelli maintains an orthodontic practice within the University of Florida’s Faculty Practice. Dr. Donatelli currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director in the Department of Orthodontics where he teaches orthodontics to the orthodontic residents, pedodontic residents, and dental students. He helps to oversee the Graduate Orthodontic Residency program. He also acts as director of the joint pedodontic/orthodontic course program, and serves as an attending professor in the Graduate Orthodontic Clinic. He also has served as an orthodontic representative on the Craniofacial Center Team and provides and directs an annual continuing education orthodontic course for general and pediatric dentists. Dr. Donatelli has authored many scientific orthodontic research articles published in various peer-reviewed journals including the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Angle Orthodontist, the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Korean Journal of Orthodontics, and the Journal of Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research. Dr. Donatelli serves on the editorial review board for The Angle Orthodontist and The World Federation of Orthodontists. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontist, the Florida Association of Orthodontists, the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Education Association. Dr. Donatelli is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Donatelli also maintains a private orthodontic practice in West Palm Beach, Florida.

A 50% refund will be issued to registrants who cancel 48-24 hours before the course starting date/time. No refunds will be issued for registrants who does not login to the webinar or who cancels within 24 hours of the course starting date/time. Participants may phone the Continuing Education office to cancel, but a written request which includes the name and phone number of the person who paid for the course must be received by our office before a refund can be processed.
