AM Course – Advances & New Concepts on Treating Traumatic Injuries
Description
Traumatic injuries are becoming more commonplace in today’s practices. Problems associated with trauma include controversial treatments, unreliability of diagnostic tests, diagnostic challenges and inability to predict success.
Several theories associated with the unreliability of these tests and ways of overcome this problem will be discussed. Case-based scenarios including helpful guidelines on
how to treat and manage pediatric patients with traumatic injuries will also be discussed.
Objectives
- Identify the biological reasons for unreliability of diagnostic tests.
- Cite outcomes following traumatic injuries.
- List appropriate treatment modalities.
PM Course – New Concepts of Chemo-mechanical Instrumentation on Traumatized Teeth
Description
The chemo-mechanical instrumentation of recent irrigation solutions and devices plays an important role for success following trauma. The elimination of bacterial biofilm and management of resorptions dictates the outcome of many traumatic injuries. Case based scenarios will be presented with the protocol of newer techniques, irrigation solutions and devices.
Objectives
- Understand important aspects of chemo-mechanical instrumentation following trauma .
- Learn new techniques and irrigation protocols.
- Understand post-operative management of traumatic injuries.
