Getting Started with Digital Dentures

Course Description:

This course will cover the what, the how, and the why of digital dentures with a strong focus on the ample scientific evidence and rationale for their use. Various clinical techniques will be discussed, along with material options, fabrication types and how to implement them in your practice to improve efficiency and lead to positive patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Know the firm evidence base for the use of digital dentures.
  2. Recognize the expanding possibilities for digital dentures.
  3. Identify the benefits and limitations of digital dentures.
  4. Recognize the many methods of fabrication of a digital denture along with their benefits and limitations.
  5. Know how to incorporate various distinct workflows to deliver high quality digital dentures.

Meet the Speaker: Dr. Gregory Bennett

Originally from the West Coast, Gregory W. Bennett, DMD earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University in 2006. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) in 2010 at the Oregon Health & Sciences University School of Dentistry, followed by a General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.

Dr. Bennett served in the US Navy as a Dental Corps officer until 2015 with time spent in California, Mississippi, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Hawaii. Dr. Bennett left the Navy in 2015 and began teaching part-time in the Department of Adult Restorative Dentistry at the UNMC College of Dentistry while maintaining a private practice. In 2019, Dr. Bennett joined the faculty of UNMC full-time. Dr Bennett teaches and conducts research in 3D printing and digital dentistry.

WEBINAR CANCELLATION POLICY: Full refunds will be issued to registrants who cancel their registration no later than 48 hours before the course starting date/time. A 50% refund will be issued to registrants who cancel 48-24 hours before the course starting date/time. No refunds will be issued for registrants who does not login to the webinar or who cancels within 24 hours of the course starting date/time. Participants may phone the Continuing Education office to cancel, but a written request which includes the name and phone number of the person who paid for the course must be received by our office before a refund can be processed. This request can be emailed to ce@dental.ufl.edu.
