Description
This is a hands-on dissection course for general dentists and dental specialists. It will take place over 2½ days. The primary objective is to instruct participants in the anatomy of the head and neck with emphasis on masticatory functions and clinical correlations with local anesthesia, facial pain and temporomandibular joint problems. The instruction can be tailored to fit the specific needs of the participants. Two participants will be assigned to each dissection table.

Objectives
Attendees will be able to:
- Review head and neck anatomy with clinical application.
- Review head and neck anatomy as it applies to the diagnosis and management of temporomandibular disorders and facial pain
- Review head and neck anatomy as it applies to local anesthesia, dental alveolar surgical procedures and implant dentistry
- For oral maxillofacial surgeons or residents Review of head and neck anatomy as it applies to TMJ and orthognathic or other surgical procedures
