Course Description

Managing Staff is often times said to be the most difficult aspect of dentistry. A dental team can impact all areas of the practice including the increasing or declining value of the dental practice itself. Successful teams thrive in the right setting with staff management systems in place. This full day course will examine the facets, systems and leadership for managing high-performing teams.

Course Objectives

At the completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Correlate the impact of leadership, communication, HR & management on dentists and their wealth accumulation goals
  • Minimize the risks of staff turnover in the dental practice
  • Implement protocols that can enhance team performance
  • Become knowledgeable on motivational coaching and conflict resolution
  • Improve HR processes by hiring successfully, conducting background checks, terminating appropriately, documentation needs & conducting performance evaluations
  • Institute strategies for creating successful teams & make systematic changes to the practice
