Comprehensive Training for the Modern U.S. Dental Practice
Certification Course
Description
Digital dentistry is now standard in U.S. dental practices, yet many dental assistants receive minimal formal education on digital workflows, imaging systems, intraoral scanners, CAD/CAM processes, and digital patient communication tools. This course addresses the educational gap by equipping dental assistants with the technical, clinical, and compliance-based skills required to function effectively as Digital Dental Assistants, improving efficiency, patient care, and practice profitability while maintaining regulatory compliance.

At the completion of the course participants will be certified to:
- Define the role and responsibilities of the Digital Dental Assistant
- Safely and effectively capture digital radiographic images
- Assist with and perform intraoral scanning procedures
- Support CAD/CAM and digital restorative workflows
- Manage digital patient records in compliance with HIPAA
- Apply infection control standards to digital equipment
- Use digital tools to enhance patient education and case acceptance
- Troubleshoot common digital technology issues
- Integrate digital workflows into daily clinical operations
