Create the user-friendly perio platform approach from patient acceptance scripting to chairside positive action. Incorporate time-tested and new technologies to find and manage periodontal /implant disease utilizing the entire team and especially dentist and hygienist interactions.

This full day hands-on workshop incorporates microthin ultrasonic technology with new curettage gels for the ideal access for the dentist and/or hygienist. The new generation guided biofilm therapy with airflow enhances speed and efficiency at the chair. Topical and local anesthesia techniques are customized for the individual patient.

We discuss products to enhance compliance with oral hygiene at home from tray delivery to oral probiotics, irrigators and anti-inflammatories. And finally, how to erase the gap in selling periodontal treatment plans for successful patient adoption.  

Objectives

• Develop “realistic” non-surgical therapies and the respective re-evaluation with emphasis on “new” anti-inflammatory systems including micro-ultrasonics and innovative air flow systems.
• Empower the dental hygienist with expanded work descriptions beyond the “prophy” to increase productivity and decrease mental stress.
• Provide patients with techno devices for biofilm control that they will actually use and support as antioxidants, probiotics and tray delivery
• Understand how to provide local anesthesia without mandibular blocks and painful palatal injections.
• Establish a quality periodontal maintenance program that enhances the restorative practice, including coding and third-party reimbursement and 100% case acceptance.
