Participation & Professional Conduct Policy

Continuing Dental Education is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional learning environment for all participants, faculty, and staff.

Participation Expectations

  • Only registered participants may enter course, classroom, or clinical areas.
  • Observers, including Dental Team members, may not perform clinical procedures or operate equipment unless specifically permitted by faculty.
  • Participants must follow all faculty and staff instructions at all times to maintain safety and course integrity.
  • CE reserves the right to remove any attendee whose actions are unsafe, disruptive, or interfere with the learning environment.

Professional Conduct

  • Participants are expected to behave courteously and professionally toward faculty, staff, and peers.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or disrespectful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Participants must comply with all UF and facility policies, including infection control, confidentiality, and appropriate attire.
  • CE reserves the right to dismiss any participant for unprofessional or inappropriate conduct. Refunds will not be provided in such cases.

By registering for a course, participants agree to uphold these standards of safety and professionalism throughout their Continuing Education experience.
